Twenty four days to Army Ten Miler race day! I’m feeling okay about actually finishing, but I’m having trouble dealing with my goal pace mental game. However, I ran my latest distance workout of six miles at goal race pace, and felt very good at the end. I’m also trying to finesse my precise stride, because I know that “shuffling” for ten miles will do more harm than good. My next challenge will be getting my body used to running at 8am on a Sunday morning. Argh!
