We’re back from our vacation in Florida! It was an interesting trip: rough flights, airport delays, and food poisoning – but we still had a really nice time overall! We started with a morning at the Green Meadows Petting Zoo. It was a lot of fun, even though Stephanie and I were clearly the oldest non-parent visitors there. Then we spent the afternoon/evening at Islands of Adventure. We had a great time, but it’s quite expensive. The Incredible Hulk roller coaster is amazing! Then it was time to visit grandma in Ormond Beach, with a brief stop at Daytona Speedway and Daytona USA. That was really fun, but also very expensive. We got some great photos during the in-field track tour, though! I put together a small online photo album with a handful of the best photos from the entire week.

Happy Easter! It was great to see Christine, Liam, and Clare for the holiday! Stephanie and I continue to be very proud godparents.

For any of you Fiona Apple fans, Wired.com posted an article today about a previously unreleased album of hers. It’s an interesting read, noting some questionable aspects of the recording industry. Search around the fan forums on her website if you’re interested in “acquiring” the album.

Have you ever brewed your own beer? I did this past weekend, and it was a lot of fun! Now we wait for three weeks of fermenting, then on to bottling and labeling!
