We’re back from a wild holiday weekend! We spent the most time sitting in Memorial Day traffic, but still had a great time at the race. We had amazing seats at the exit of pit road, and stayed well into the night to see a finish that was both exciting and controversial.

Congratulations to Stephanie! Island Creek will certainly be gaining a talented and capable asset next Fall. A winner is you!

We’re off all weekend with Drew, Aaron, and Kristy to attend the NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte! Yee-haw! We can’t wait, and will be sure to provide fun stories and photos.

There’s nothing good on network TV anymore, and I’m sure there hasn’t been for a while. I came to this realization last night during the Lost finale. I’m done with that show – one season was more than enough for me. They simply can’t convince me to tune in next Fall to sit through more slow action, endlessly weaving plotlines, and dozens of unanswered and needlessly complicated questions. Is this the best they can do?

Happy anniversary, Stephanie! Take this ring as a love of my sign. Two years ago today we were stuffing our faces with Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and our wedding guests were admitting themselves to hospitals and getting yelled at by hotel staff. Hope you enjoy dinner tonight!
