A big verdict out of the west coast yesterday, and throngs of scottahearn.com are dying to know: what do I think of the big decision? Well I, for one, can’t believe Katie has decided to embrace Scientology. I mean, how unexpected is that?

All these years in DC, and yesterday was my first time visiting Great Falls Park. Stephanie and I enjoyed a picnic, then walked around the park for a little while. It’s an impressive sight if you’ve never been.

I’ve put out a few updates to the site this week, including a new technical feature in which I go into full-on “nerd mode.” I had to get it on the web because it clearly wasn’t documented to date – once Google picks it up, perhaps it will help someone else in the same situation. I’ve also added brief mouse-over commentary to some of the right-side links (books, music, and movies). No point to that, really, except for my own amusement. Finally, the new header image up top is care of our Williamsburg trip last weekend. Stephanie killed that bottle all by herself, I think. What a trooper.

Another travel weekend for us, as we head down to Williamsburg for a friend’s wedding. The deadline for Cheese Shop, Sno-to-go, and Pierce’s Barbeque orders has passed. Sorry.
