Team A'Hearn

We had a very nice Christmas this year, both with hosting my family on Christmas Eve, and visiting Stephanie’s family in Richmond on the 25^th and 26^th. It was nice to see everybody, as always! So now Steph is on break and I’ve taken the entire week off; we’ve managed to get into the habit of sleeping until lunchtime. It’s glorious. We’re out this weekend to a friend’s beach house in Ocean City for New Year festivities. Monday will be spent in tears of anguish, then we will head back to work on Tuesday. Alas.

I’m feeling a little bit loopy and bloated today, but in a good way. Last night was our good friend Drew’s birthday, and he requested an evening at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse. It was only my second time there, and I remember feeling this familiar combination of satiation, guilt, and hangover. But hey, everything is better with a bottle of wine and a few sticks of butter, right?
