It’s time again for March Madness and although I don’t follow NCAA basketball, I’m doing the whole bracket picks thing with some friends. It honestly became a random exercise in closing my eyes and pointing. I suppose I could have researched some expert picks from around the web, but I know enough about the tourney to realize how unpredictable it usually is. So here’s my bracket (beware ginormous PDF). Forget the taps, forget the kegs. Just move to Norway and you, too, can have magical, delicious beer flowing right from your kitchen faucet! And speaking of beer, the Shamrock Fest was a big ripoff; thank God for good friends to ease the pain of a $20 entry fee and $5 Bud drafts. Ouch.

It looks like we’re in for some decent weather this weekend, so what to do? Well, you could come over and help me wash our cars; or maybe pitch in with a little yard work; and how about that nagging list of housework and honey-dos? Yes, all that – plus a swing through the annual Shamrock Fest, some NASCAR racin’, and a small dinner party on Sunday evening. Come on, Spring time!
