Happy anniversary, Stephanie! I love you!

There’s nothing quite like the headline “Bear Eats Monkey“. I can’t help but laugh, and apparently neither could Stephanie who was quick to email the story to me. That’s my girl.

Just when I think I’m running out of things to blog about, I get in my first accident and wreck Steph’s car. We were running some errands on Monday evening and in a moment of distraction I drove The Hotness into the back of a Honda CRV like a damn dummy. That caused some additional pileups ahead and we found ourselves in the back of a four-car chain of collisions. Thankfully, nobody was hurt and Steph’s car (which sustained the most damage, by far) has not been totaled. I just feel really stupid now, and hope I never get to receive a face-full of airbag ever again. Jokes and insults about my driving ability are encouraged.

Let’s go racin’! Tomorrow afternoon a bunch of us are headed down to Richmond International Raceway to see the Circuit City 250. Saturday night Cup tickets are sold out years in advance it seems, but as Busch Series tickets are somewhat more attainable we thought it would be fun to catch that race a day before. Hopefully we’ll also see some qualifying and practice sessions during the day. Yew!
