Team A'Hearn

Just one more hour until we leave for four days of sun and surf at Nags Head, North Carolina! Phones will not be answered and emails will be neglected. We’re generally just going to ignore everyone unless you stroll up on the beach with a pitcher of margaritas or something.

On Saturday night we were at Blues Alley for Poncho Sanchez and his Latin Jazz band! It was a tremendous show as usual, and we had some phenomenal seats. I took the [poor quality, low-light, weird angle] camera phone image to the right FROM MY SEAT right before the show. And I had to lean back to take it. I could have nudged his congas with my elbow, and had to spend the evening making sure not to bump my knee into two of the mic stands! All this made for a slightly deafening concert experience, but it was certainly worth it for one of our favorite bands.

Have a happy Fourth of July, everyone! We’ll be laying low today and visiting my folks tonight for some barbeque and explosives. Remember kids, fireworks belong in the sky! Or, you know, in your hand.
