Yesterday I stumbled across myheritage.com, a photo genealogy site that provides a fun, free facial recognition service. You upload a photo and they quickly use some computer magic to match your facial composition and structure to a database of celebrities. Let the hilarity begin:
So, yeah. I have the cherub-like face of Jessica Alba. I suppose it’s fairly accurate though, because I found another photo of her, sent it through, and got a 96% match. Wacky.
Over the past month or so, I’ve been pretty abused by work. Things have been incredibly busy leading up to a major milestone yesterday morning, so I was elated to finally come home and host an Elvis Death Day dinner among friends. We pulled out a few choice recipes from Are You Hungry Tonight?, played some of the King’s greatest hits, enjoyed a reading of the infamous Hamburger James story, and ended the evening feeling thoroughly bloated. This is what annual traditions are all about!
Vacation is over – already! Our long weekend ended last night and it was back to work today for me. We had a blast at the Outer Banks; the weather was great, we enjoyed some quality beach time, rented some jet skis, and got some much-needed R&R. Then it was back home late Sunday night, and an extra day of laziness yesterday.
We capped off our four-day festivities last night with a first-time attempt at our local high-tech driving range, Top Golf, among friends and beer. That’s quite a place; even for non-golfers like us it was a lot of fun. Stephanie is pretty sure she’s the next Michelle Wie. But she’s not.
