A word of caution for all of my fellow lead-foot Virginia drivers: as of July 1^st the state will be enforcing new laws in an effort to help fund major road projects. So now instead of paying a few hundred for that 80mph in a school zone, you’ll be paying a few thousand. The points on your license will start affecting what you pay differently, as well.

Thanks to our friends Pam and George for a fun Saturday evening at the Nissan Pavilion to see Rush in concert! Those guys have been playing since the 70s, but they can still put on one heck of a show. They went for about three hours total, with one break in the middle. Nissan is a pretty good venue, too – covered seating with a large lawn area for general admission.

Thanks to Becca for introducing us to a hilarious new show Mondays on CBS. Creature Comforts comes to us from the creator of the UK series Wallace and Gromit, and features clay animation over interviews with everyday people about a variety of topics. I missed the first two episodes (out of seven supposedly commissioned by CBS), but they are both available for download via the “Video” link on the site above. Don’t miss it!
